Settling in to life in San Diego

Hello all! We have been here 2 weeks now, and with all the bumps and stress along the way..we are here and totally love it! We are taking Reilly out shopping for his birthday at the moment, and I am blogging whilst the babies are sleeping in the car.
For us, warmth means a lot. I know we have been "rubbing it in" because it is 81 degrees here, but in all honesty, after that last brutal New England winter, we just about had it with the cold. LeighAnn and I love and have always had a longing for California, we just didn't think it would happen so quick. But things do happen for a reason, and getting canned by them was probably the best thing that will happen. It forced us to do this now, and I for one am glad we did. The kids LOVE it here, and the will be back in school soon. I am looking for work still..something radio or non radio will happen!

Hey Ralphie I was sorry to hear what happen. I wish you and your family the very best. I understand your search I am from Kittery and a single mom of 4. I was let go from my job and took a job here in Texas. Though we miss maine and family up there, the cost of living is more affordable and the weather is great. If your in my next of the woods swing by we can enjoy some lobsta... Best wishes to you and yours

Ralphie, I came home on leave a few months ago and turned on werz I was quite upset not to hear you and suzanne but some one else. I couldnt even listen to them so I had to change the station to FNX. I was recalled before I could find out what happened. the only thing i was able to do was check the website and it gave me no info. I miss you guys. I used to listen to you along with hundreds of others in the morning on my way to work. I even left a half an hour earlier than i needed to just to hear you guys start at 530.
Ive listened to WERZ since it was Jeff and Sarah, however now that you are no longer there. I, as i know many others have, am boycotting 107.1.

hi guys..just caught up on your blog and you know I love to read about your journey..What I admire the most is your honesty and the fact that how hard some of this journey has been I can still envision you writing to us with a SMILE on your face..Keep the faith remember good things happen to good people so you guys are just being tested right now for whatever reason but GREAT THINGS will come your way..Keep smiling hug each other and remember that you are going through this with each other and it is just making your family unit stronger..You have a lot of friends out here cheering you on.Luv ya...
